Quote from Intrepid :I think we all have a soft-spot for our first car.

Do I ever. I miss my shitty 5-speed, which became a 4-speed, then a 3-speed before the clutch fork finally snapped and we binned it.

It's not that the car's bad, it's just that if I ever got my hands on one it would be my daily driver.

It hurt to watch that video.

I like that he's there, but I feel like he's been brainwashed to talk about nothing but tyres.

It's not that exciting. They literally just line up on the grid for a few seconds, then the starter waved the yellow flags and everyone pulled away except Newgarden.

Toronto Race 1 right now.

They waved off the standing start, which means they default back to a rolling start.

Way to go IndyCar...

But I have almost no usable content.

There is an easy solution to this problem, me throwing $300 at the screen for some new stuff, but I'd really rather not.

Like, I could live with the pay subscription if I didn't have to wait until a certain time to grab a race. I'm a (surprisingly) busy person, so it's hard to get some time to drive. Then, when I finally do, chances are I'm too tired to bother.

I subbed about two weeks ago. Every time I tried to race, the servers needed maintenance. Now I can't run at my license level because they moved to tracks I don't own.

This will most likely be the last time I subscribe to the current structure of iRacing.

Because the protagonist typically motions downward, towards his pants for large weapons. Like he's got an AK taped to his leg.

I remember Steve Machett saying in The Mechanic's Tale that the CWC is still most important to the members of the team.

That said, I'm sure they recognize that all the public really cares about is the DWC.

Quote from flymike91 :Personally, I think US auto companies are in agreement not to sell wagons as people may realize they don't need an 8 foot tall SUV that weighs 3900lbs for their one child.

This x1000.

To be fair, you could probably make the same thread with men instead and it would be just as popular.

Yea, Jersey traffic. Spent an hour waiting to get out of the parking lot, then we finally got on I-80 and from there it was still 4 hours to get home (regularly 1.5 hours). Turns out there was a crash in New Jersey that everyone had to stop and stare at, backing up traffic into Pennsylvania.

On the topic of food, did anyone see a Pirogi stand anywhere at the track? Just something my brothers and I were on the prowl for. We were eager to embrace the slovak heritage.

Just got back.

I have to say, IndyCar has once again stunned me with their fan access. We got paddock passes both days and, although they were a bit pricey, they are definitely worth it. Got to watch pit stops on Saturday from the pit wall and the grid walk Sunday was priceless. Even got the Penske crews to laugh at the shirt I made (It was ripping Danica, of course).

As for the race itself, I wish there were a few more cautions to keep the field bunched. Otherwise, it was excellent.
